"A BIA is long overdue"Written 2 years ago by Phil Mattes
The Proposal of BIA for the Ambleside Dundarave area will be a positive change for area. A BIA is long overdue and is one of the last area's to have one. The success of BIA's brings life to the community and businesses. Cost of the BIA is a small price to pay for the returns it will provide. I fully support the proposal because it will create a win win situation that will make the area flourish. Having a strong voice to advocate for parking, streetscape improvements will greatly increase the prospects seeing the public rediscover the area. Phil Mattes- business owner

"A BIA in Ambleside is long overdue"Written 2 years ago by Paul Giesbrecht
I believe creating a BIA in Ambleside and Dundarave is necessary in order to improve the viability of retail and other business in the area. BIAs have been very successful in other areas in terms of creating a brand and a destination for shoppers. Given competition from other commercial districts in Greater Vancouver creating a structure to guide and encourage investment in Ambleside and Dundarave and advocate to the district is imperative and long overdue. Existing strategies have not proven effective in the creation of a desirable, enticing commercial area that appropriately reflects West Vancouver’s demographics in what is otherwise a spectacular setting. - Paul Giesbrecht West Vancouver resident and business owner
